… Ibeshe to have another Primary School soon

Builder Olusesan Daini, Executive Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA has concluded the distribution of Educational Materials Support to the thirteen Primary schools in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA today, by rounding up with Anglian Primary School Offin, Lajo Community Primary School and Oreta Primary School.

Builder Olusesan primary focus is to create a conducive learning environment for primary schools. he said Personally visiting the thirteen schools within a span of three days, he conducts thorough needs assessments, distributes educational support materials, and identifies areas for improvement. This hands-on approach allows him to directly connect with the students and understand their needs.

Builder Olusesan said The renovation of five classrooms and a standard toilet will be done at Methodist Primary School Igbogbo, Salvation Army Primary School, Agunfoye will witness the full reconstruction of classrooms and toilets, meanwhile, Anglican primary school offin will also witness full reconstruction of a new block of classrooms with the provision of furnitures, Methodist Primary School Elepe primary school 1 and 2 will get 6 to 8 toilets.

Builder Daini emphasized the importance of providing a conducive learning environment and ensuring that primary schools have the necessary materials. To further support the dedicated teachers, tokens are being provided to meet their needs in the schools.

The ultimate goal of these initiatives is to empower the community to say no to illiteracy and child dropouts. Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA is determined to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and access quality education.

The commitment to equipping students with the necessary tools for learning is evident in the production of a minimum of 50,000 exercise books. Each child receives a minimum of four exercise books, along with essential items such as biro, pencil, eraser, sharpener, and ruler.

Builder Daini commend the head teachers for their dedication and encourages them to continue their outstanding work. Regular meetings have been held, including one just three or four weeks ago, with the executive secretary of Ikorodu Local Government and all the head teachers. This collaborative approach ensures a coordinated effort to provide the best educational experience for the students.

Builder Olusesan Daini, announced that the long-awaited dream of Olu Odo community is set to become a reality as a primary school will be commissioned in the next three weeks. The community had written a letter 42 years ago, expressing their need for a primary school, and the government has recognized the importance of fulfilling this request.

He thanked Rep. Babajimi Benson, member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency, for the classroom and he said the council has provided all other necessary resources.

Furthermore, he said Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA will address the need for another primary school in Ibeshe, Builder Olusesan Daini has pledged to explore this requirement and ensure that a primary school is established to meet the needs of the people.

Recognizing the importance of accessible primary education, he emphasized the significance of reducing travel distances and increasing access to education for all children, by bringing education closer to the people, the Government aims to increase the number of educated children in the community.

Mrs. Ibrahimo S.O, the head teacher of LG Primary School, Oreta expressed her excitement and gratitude for the Chairman’s efforts in uplifting the spirits of the children.

Previously, the children had lost hope and didn’t feel like they belonged to the community. However, with the chairman’s current initiatives, their outlook has completely changed. They are now filled with happiness and want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the chairman for his kindness and support.

Mrs Adesanwo Modupe Adeola, Head Teacher of Lajo Community Primary School, expressed her happiness and gratitude to the Chairman, she said the children, who were previously unable to afford necessary supplies, are now overjoyed thanks to the chairman’s support.

She said In the past, the school faced challenges such as hoodlums sleeping on the premises and the theft of books. However, due to the chairman’s initiatives by building permiter fence to the school, these issues have been resolved. The children no longer have to worry about their books being stolen or their classrooms being used as dumping grounds.

Comrade Ayo Ajayi, the CDA Chairman of Lajo community, also the assistant secretary of the CDC Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, expressed the community’s excitement and gratitude. They have witnessed firsthand the remarkable developmental programs implemented by Builder Daini.

He said another notable achievements is the construction of a block of classrooms in the school premises which was built long time ago by him and recently the perimeter fence he built which has brought immense joy to the children.
