Alhaja Kehinde Fesomu Takes the Helm as CDC Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Promising Commitment to Community Development, the inauguration of the Chairman and other executives took place earlier today at the Council Secretariat of Ijede LCDA.

The CDC Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Alhaja Kehinde Fesomu, expressed her gratitude to the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, for her support. Fesomu stated, “I will work with my fellow executives in cooperation with the Local Government Chairman so that we can work for the development of Ijede.” Fesomu also emphasized her desire to collaborate with the community in elevating the rural area, and she called upon the CDC Ijede LCDA executives to assist her administration in achieving various planned projects for the community.

Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, stated that after the disassembly of the previous executive, it is appropriate to elect new ones. She expressed, “After a rigorous process, the newly elected executives have emerged. I am counting on their full cooperation and support as we move forward with the administration.”

The vice chairman and supervisor for Agriculture of Ijede LCDA Hon Kabir femi Kareem said “we are inaugurating our newly elected CDC executive, the list was ratified because we were able to achieve consolidation and consensus between various contestants, the tenure is the span of two years, renewable”.

He implore the executives to involve more in community servicing, he said “they should rendered service that will be beneficial to humanity, they should assist in humanitarian activities in their CDC, the welfare, security, property and work closely with the executive chairman of the Local Government.

Mrs. Lamilisa Morayo olubunmi a director with the ministry of local government and community affairs encourage the newly elected CDC executive to put the community interest first in the course of their administration as they are the bridge between their community and the government in aiding social responsibility and development.
