Graduates of the Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA skill acquisition program were filled with joy and gratitude as they successfully completed their 3-week intensive training. The program offered training in various skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, makeup, gele, skin care, catering, and home essentials.

The Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, was represented by Vice Chairman Alh. Maja Okedina, who commended the community for coming out in large numbers to benefit from the program. Daini congratulated the graduates and urged them to make effective use of their newly acquired skills.

The program was made possible through a collaboration between the New Era Project and Sunglow Business Concept.

Daini thanked the instructors and collaborators for their hard work and commitment. He also thanked Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Emugoriade 1st and Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, for providing the space to run the program.

Miss Kemi, a graduate from the tailoring department, expressed her gratitude, stating that it was a rare privilege to acquire the skill for free. Dignitaries such as the Iyalode of Igbogbo Kingdom, Adeboruwa Oba in council, the Council Manager of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Council Engineer, Councilors, Supervisors, and others graced the occasion.

The skill acquisition program is a great way to empower the community and provide opportunities for personal growth and development. The Chairman stressed that this is not the end of good work in the community.
