The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini distributes over 3000 packs to residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, yesterday he launched a new initiative to support citizens and residents in light of the subsidy removal hardship. The project, called the Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA food bank initiative, aims to provide palliative support to the people of the LCDA.

The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini, spoke about the food Initiative, saying, “This is one of the projects and programs that will come out of our palliative programs within the next six months to support the subsidy removal hardship on our citizens. We share the pain of the people and we know that what is presently happening in Nigeria calls for accession, the support of the Government.”

The Chairman also expressed his appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for their efforts to reduce the effect of the subsidy removal in Nigeria.

The food bank initiative will provide food items, mainly rice, to various groups and organizations within the LCDA, including Christian associations, Muslim society, artisans, youths, market associations, CDA, CDC, staffs of Igbogbo Baiyeku, orphanages, and people living with disabilities. The initiative is expected to benefit around 3,000 people.

During the launch, the Chairman appealed to the recipients to extend the goodwill of the Government to their people and not use the items for personal gain. He emphasized that the program aims to support citizens and residents of the LCDA, regardless of party affiliation.

Builder Olusesan emphasized the importance of supporting citizens and residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, regardless of party affiliation. He appealed to the recipients to extend the goodwill of the government to their people and not use the items for personal gain.

Mrs. Toyin Shonaike, the Chairman Committee of the Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA food initiative, has commended the government’s efforts to support citizens and residents of the LCDA. She stated that the government’s various initiatives, such as the student loan, review of micro, small and entrepreneurs, and salary increment, have shown the government’s commitment to pushing through change.

She commend Builder Olusesan Daini, for his initiative in launching the Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA food bank initiative to support residents during these challenging times.

She also said Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA is the first local government to launch such initiative in Lagos state, and it demonstrates the LCDA’s commitment to supporting its residents during these challenging times. With the support of initiatives like this, the people of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA can look forward to a brighter future.

Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya commend Builder Daini for the food Initiative in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, he also said “Nigerians generally are going through a very difficult time we are going through necessary phase that one has to go through in other to give birth to happiness.”

“We have heard some very promising promises from the president which will be implemented first by the local government, what we are witnessing today is just the palliative of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA. The state palliative will soon come, the President has also approved 220metrics tons of grains be released soon.”

Yeye Bashorun commended Builder Olusesan Daini for his good work in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and urged him to continue to do more.

Chief Karimot Iyalode of Igbogbo Kingdom also praised Builder Daini for his good work, applauding him and praying for him. Many people in the community are grateful for his efforts and hope that he will continue to do great things for Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Other stakeholders present at the occasion also applauded the Chairman’s efforts in launching the Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA food bank initiative.
