Builder Olusesan Mayorkun, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, has fulfilled one of his electoral promises by laying the foundation of a six-classroom block at Oreta Primary School. The event, which took place in Oreta, was attended by leaders and members of community members, who expressed their gratitude to the council for fulfilling their requests.

During his speech, Builder Olusesan Mayorkun stated that the council had received two requests from the people of Oreta during their campaign, which were the construction of a health center and a primary school. He revealed that the office of the SDG federal government had already built the health center, and that the council was present to provide all other things that were needed to make the health center functional.

Builder Olusesan Mayorkun also disclosed that the council would be building a security post to ensure that the place was fully functional, which the foundation was laid today.

In addition, the council would be building the six-classroom block, which would be furnished with furniture, white marker boards, and all other equipment needed to make it comfortable and appropriate for learning for the children.

He promised that the council would deliver all these within the next eight weeks so that the students could use the classroom immediately they resume.

The event was significant because it showed that Builder Olusesan Mayorkun was committed to fulfilling his electoral promises and serving the people of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA. Despite it being his birthday, he chose to spend the day working and serving the people, which is a testament to his dedication and commitment to community development.

The Vice Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA Hon. Nureini Okedina-Maja, Council Leader Hon. Nurudeen Alimi, the Council Manager, other council officials, and the community leaders witnessed the occasion.
