The Convener of the PAJ Movement, Prince Adedoyin Ogunbiyi Jokotex, has embarked on a series of appreciation visits to prominent political leaders and royal fathers across Ikorodu Division and beyond, in recognition of their support during the last local government elections and his subsequent appointment as Supervisory Councillor for Health in Ikorodu North LCDA.

Jokotex, who was recently appointed by the Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Ameen Olawale Apanishile, described the visits as a gesture of gratitude to individuals who played key roles in his political journey.

The appreciation tour commenced at the constituency office of Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, where a thank-you card was presented in acknowledgment of the senator’s support. The card was received on his behalf by his personal assistant, Mr. Lade.

The team also visited the residence of the Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom, S.O.B. Agunbiade, whom Jokotex described as a mentor. He expressed deep appreciation for Agunbiade’s guidance and fatherly role throughout his political journey, offering prayers for his continued good health and longevity.

In continuation of the visits, Jokotex and his team paid homage to former Lagos State Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning, Rotimi Ogunleye.

During the visit, Jokotex presented an appreciation gift in recognition of Ogunleye’s support and contributions to his political development.

Ogunleye, while receiving the team, encouraged Jokotex to remain committed and diligent in his new role, noting that the appointment marks the beginning of greater opportunities. He also urged members of the team to remain steadfast in their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

As part of the tour, Jokotex received royal blessings from traditional rulers during a visit to the palace of the Elemuren of Emuren Kingdom, Oba Adesegun Alowonle. Other monarchs present at the palace who offered prayers and blessings included Oba Olukayode David Raji, Oba Kolawole Adebogun, Oba Vincent Hassan Amusa, and Oba Bilau Hassan Kehinde.

Jokotex reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the thank-you visits to other political stakeholders within Ikorodu Division in the coming days.
