Months after being sponsored to a skill acquisition programme by the administration of Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), some beneficiaries from Lekki LCDA have successfully completed their training and returned not just with certificates, but with proof of transformation.
In a heartwarming visit to the Chairman, the young ladies from the catering arm of the programme expressed their appreciation through action, presenting a beautifully baked cake made with the very skills they acquired during their training. The gesture stood as a powerful testament to the impact of intentional investment in human capital.
Their journey reflects a broader vision, one that goes beyond empowerment to actual capacity building. From learning to earning, these young beneficiaries now carry with them the tools for independence, growth, and contribution to the local economy.
This milestone reinforces the importance of sustained investment in youth development, a priority that remains central to the Chairman’s agenda. It is a commitment not just to create opportunities, but to ensure that those opportunities translate into real, measurable outcomes.
As these young women step into the next phase of their journey, their success serves as both inspiration and proof that with the right support, the future of Lekki LCDA is in capable hands.
