
The Council Leader of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, has joined millions of people around the world to celebrate International Women’s Day, recognizing the achievements and contributions of women to society.
In a goodwill message released through her Office, Hon. Banjoko applauded the resilience, strength, and dedication of women who continue to make meaningful impacts in their homes, communities, and various sectors of the economy.
She noted that International Women’s Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable roles women play in shaping society while also encouraging continuous support for women empowerment and gender equality.
The Council Leader further reiterated her commitment to supporting initiatives and policies that promote the development and inclusion of women within Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
