
The Legislative Arm of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has commenced the screening exercise for nominees for the positions of Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Supervisors, and Special Advisers.
Speaking on the exercise, the Leader of the Council, Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, said the screening process is necessary to properly assess and verify the qualifications and suitability of the various nominees presented for the positions.
She noted that the exercise forms part of the legislative arm’s responsibility to ensure that only competent and capable individuals are confirmed to serve in key roles within the council administration.
Princess Banjoko further disclosed that the screening exercise will continue tomorrow as the legislative arm proceeds with the evaluation of other nominees.
The process, according to her, is aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in the administration of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
