
The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has extended warm greetings to Nigerians observing Ramadan and Lent, calling for prayer, reflection, and unity.
In her Ramadan message on Wednesday, 18th February 2026, the First Lady felicitated with Muslim faithful across the nation, praying that the Holy Month brings peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment to families and the country.
She urged all Nigerians to remember the nation in their prayers for greater peace and prosperity, adding, “May Almighty Allah accept all our supplications, forgive all our sins and answer all our prayers. Ramadan Kareem.”
Similarly, in her Lenten message, Senator Tinubu encouraged Christians to embrace this period of spiritual growth, self-reflection, and compassion by following Christ’s example of love.
She emphasized the importance of acts of kindness, deepening faith, and fostering stronger relationships, while also calling for prayers for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity. “I wish us all a blessed and fulfilled Lenten season,” she said.
