Seaside Football Club of Lagos State has officially secured a slot in the Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One and will participate in the 2026 season.

The confirmation was conveyed in a letter dated February 12, 2026, and signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the Nationwide League One Secretariat, Dr. Olushola Ogunnowo. The letter, addressed to the Chairman of Seaside FC, affirmed that the club has acquired a Division One slot and will compete in the Nationwide League One Division One from the 2026 season.

The letter further stated that, in line with the rules and regulations guiding the Nationwide League One, Seaside FC, as an affiliate of the Lagos State Football Association, will play all its home matches in Lagos.

The club is also expected to operate in accordance with the league format and statutory guidelines, except otherwise directed by the NLO Congress.

Seaside FC has been advised to liaise with the Lagos State Football Association for further information regarding players’ registration and other necessary documentation as it prepares for participation in the 2026 Nationwide League One Division One campaign.
