The Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has sustained its monthly palliative support programme as the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), approved the distribution of relief materials for February 2026, aimed at easing the socio-economic burden on vulnerable residents across the council area.
The initiative, which aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda, is aimed at providing relief to vulnerable members of the community, particularly the aged, widows, widowers, and other indigent residents across Lekki LCDA.
According to the council, the February edition of the palliative distribution is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 6, 2026.
As practiced in previous months, the exercise will be carried out through a door-to-door distribution, ensuring that the palliatives reach intended beneficiaries directly within their communities.
The Lekki LCDA administration reaffirmed its commitment to people-oriented programmes and social interventions designed to improve the welfare and wellbeing of residents, especially those most affected by economic hardship.
