UPE Primary School, Siriwon, has been included in the ongoing library project initiated by the Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), aimed at establishing functional libraries in public primary schools across the council.

The project, approved by the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), seeks to enhance learning resources for pupils and promote literacy within the community. With the inclusion of UPE Primary School, Siriwon, the initiative continues to progress under the current phase, benefiting eight public primary schools in total.

The programme is part of the administration’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and ensuring pupils have access to essential learning materials that support academic growth.

The Executive Chairman reiterated that the development of functional libraries in public schools remains a priority, reflecting the council’s dedication to fostering quality education and empowering young learners across Lekki LCDA.
