The city of Ikorodu is buzzing with anticipation as the family of Deaconess Wonu Aderibigbe-Oshinowo JP prepares to host a grand celebration in honor of her 70th birthday this Sunday, February 1st, 2026.
The milestone event, themed “God’s Love & Faithfulness,” is expected to draw a distinguished crowd of family, friends, and well-wishers to witness a day dedicated to gratitude and reflection on a life well-lived.
A Day of Spiritual Reflection and Celebration
The festivities will commence with a specialized church service at the RCCG Covenant of Peace Parish, located at 38-40 Lowa Street. The service, scheduled from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, will focus on the celebrant’s journey of faith and her contributions to the community.
Following the spiritual service, the celebration will shift to the Ikorodu Town Hall for a grand reception starting at 1:00 pm. The venue is expected to be transformed into a sea of Pink and Gold, the official dress code chosen to reflect the elegance and joy of the “Platinum” jubilee.
The event is being organized by her children, Arch. Adeyinka and Arch. Mrs. Ifedolapo Aderibigbe, who described the celebrant as a pillar of strength and a devoted mother and grandmother.
“This is more than just a party; it is a testimony to God’s enduring faithfulness in our mother’s life,” the family shared in their invitation to the community.
