The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has extended the council’s ongoing road stabilization programme to Imagbon Segun community, as part of sustained efforts to improve road infrastructure across the LCDA.

The intervention, carried out with the Chairman’s approval, involved the laying of crushed stone base course on previously scarified and graded road sections to enhance durability and ease of movement for residents and road users.

Key roads covered under the exercise include the Magbon Segun Vocational Centre Road, alongside other adjoining access routes within the community, which have long required attention due to poor road conditions.

Residents of Imagbon Segun have welcomed the development, noting that the road works will significantly reduce transportation challenges, especially during the rainy season, while improving access to homes, businesses, and public facilities.

The road stabilization project forms part of Engr. Kasali’s broader commitment to grassroots development, aimed at easing hardship, boosting local economic activities, and ensuring safer and more reliable road networks across communities in Lekki LCDA.
