The commissioning of the road represents the fulfillment of a long-standing community need, as the road had been abandoned for several years before the intervention of the present administration. Its completion underscores the Ladega-led administration’s commitment to restoring critical infrastructure and enhancing connectivity within Ikorodu Local Government.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Ladega expressed satisfaction with the successful delivery of the project, noting that the rehabilitated road would significantly ease movement, boost commercial activities, and improve the overall well-being of residents in the Benson Area.

He urged members of the community to take collective ownership of the facility by ensuring its proper use and maintenance so it can serve the people for many years.

The Executive Chairman was accompanied by notable political leaders, including Hon. Jimi Benson and Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye, who commended the initiative and described the project as a clear demonstration of responsive and people-oriented governance.
