Mr. Owolabi Falana, Permanent Board Member of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, attended the Bett UK 2026 educational technology summit in London from January 21st to 23rd. His participation highlights Lagos State’s focused commitment to integrating innovative technology into its basic education system.

As an educator and buyer at the event, Mr. Falana explored the latest EdTech innovations and proven solutions that would be adapted in Lagos classrooms.

He engaged directly with leading technology providers and participate in forums with policymakers and education leaders from over 120 countries gathered at the summit.

This engagement is a strategic effort to source tools and strategies that will enhance teaching, learning, and digital literacy across the state’s primary schools. The insights and connections gained are expected to directly support the board’s mission to modernize educational infrastructure and pedagogy in Lagos State.
