The Environmental Department of Lekki LCDA, has carried out a sanitary disposal of refuse at the beach front areas of Ikegun and Folu towns of Lekki LCDA.

The exercise was carried out on the directive of the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), as part of ongoing efforts to promote a clean, safe, and healthy environment across the council area.

During the operation, accumulated refuse along the beach fronts were cleared and properly disposed of, with environmental officers ensuring that standard sanitation procedures were followed.

The good people of Ikegun and Folu towns were advised to maintain proper waste disposal habits and cooperate with environmental officers to sustain a clean and orderly environment.

The Lekki LCDA Environmental Department will continue the sanitation exercise, as they move into other towns of the LCDA.
