The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has urged Nigerians to uphold the values of love, compassion, kindness and generosity as they celebrate the Christmas season, describing the period as a time for hope beyond the festivities.

In her Christmas message to the nation, Senator Tinubu said the Yuletide season, which marks the birth of Jesus Christ, offers an opportunity for families and friends to come together, reflect on God’s faithfulness and extend support to the less privileged in society.

She encouraged citizens to count their blessings and show care to those in need, noting that such acts of kindness help strengthen unity and peaceful coexistence across the country.

The First Lady also offered prayers for peace and national harmony, stressing the importance of safety and mutual respect among Christians, Muslims and adherents of other faiths in Nigeria.
Looking ahead to the new year,

Senator Tinubu expressed optimism that 2026 would usher in greater unity, renewed hope and prosperity for the nation.
