
In the spirit of the festive season, Hon. Damilare Orimoloye, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Sports, has distributed food boxes to youths in Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), as part of efforts to share love, care, and goodwill with residents.
The outreach, which attracted a large number of beneficiaries, was aimed at easing the burden on youths during the festive period and reinforcing the values of compassion and community support. Hon. Orimoloye noted that the initiative reflects the commitment of the Lagos State Government to the welfare of young people across the state.
Speaking during the distribution,
Hon. Orimoloye conveyed the appreciation of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to the youths of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA for their continued support of his administration. He commended them for standing firmly with the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly during the recent Local Government elections, describing their loyalty as vital to the progress and stability of the state.
According to him, the food boxes were presented as a token of gratitude and solidarity, encouraging the youths to celebrate the festive season in an atmosphere of unity and joy. He further urged them to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and supportive of government programmes aimed at youth development and social inclusion.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and thoughtful, while reaffirming their commitment to supporting the policies and initiatives of the Sanwo-Olu administration.
