In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) distributed food packs to members of the community as part of efforts to support residents during the ongoing festive period. The gesture, which is in line with the council’s commitment to people-oriented programmes, aims to ease the burden on families, especially in light of current economic realities.

Speaking at the distribution exercise, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem explained that the initiative was designed to give back to the people and ensure that households, particularly children, could enjoy the festive season without worrying about their basic needs.
