
The Mayor Dele Oshinowo Foundation (MDOF) has announced a major healthcare intervention targeted at improving medical access for vulnerable residents across the Greater Kosofe axis.
Through a strategic partnership with the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), the foundation will provide free health insurance coverage for 2,000 residents, ensuring inclusive access to quality healthcare services.
The initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting underserved groups and bridging the healthcare gap across communities within Ikosi–Isheri LCDA, Kosofe Local Government, and Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. According to MDOF, the programme will be held across the three councils as follows:
16 December — Ikosi–Isheri LCDA
Venue: Ikosi–Isheri LCDA Headquarters
17 December — Kosofe Local Government
Venue: Kosofe LG Headquarters
18 December — Agboyi-Ketu LCDA
Venue: Ketu PHC, Akintan Street, Mascara
Residents of Greater Kosofe who possess a valid LASSRA identity card are eligible to benefit from the free health insurance scheme. Interested applicants are encouraged to register using the link provided by the foundation.
