‎The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, has honoured the Ikorodu West Local Branch with the prestigious Best Overall Performing Local Branch in Lagos State award under the purposeful leadership of Comrade Taiwo Anuoluwapo at the 2025 NYCN Lagos Annual Congress held in Badagry.

‎This outstanding recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and tireless efforts of the executives, stakeholders, volunteers, and the vibrant youth community of Ikorodu West. It reflects the branch’s continuous drive for impactful youth development, innovative programmes, strong community engagement, and exceptional organizational performance throughout the year.

‎Speaking after receiving the award, the leadership of NYCN Ikorodu West expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty, to the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Sulaimon Kareem Olarewaju (Grand Patron), and to the Lagos State NYCN leadership led by Engr. Adigun Ibrahim Olalekan, MNSE, as well as all partners and supporters who have contributed immensely to the council’s growth and success.
