As part of ongoing efforts to improve the standard of education across Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasal (MNSE, MNATE), directed and completed the procurement of new whiteboards for 14 public primary schools within the council area.
The initiative followed a report presented to the Chairman regarding the poor state of classroom facilities in some schools. Responding to the findings, Engr. Kasali emphasized his administration’s unwavering commitment to creating a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers alike.
He noted that functional and modern teaching aids such as whiteboards play a crucial role in enhancing classroom interaction, improving instructional delivery, and supporting overall academic performance.
The whiteboard procurement adds to a growing list of educational interventions under the RBK-led administration, including the provision of school buses, construction and renovation of classrooms, as well as the regular distribution of learning materials across all schools within the LCDA.
With this latest effort, Lekki LCDA continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing quality education and empowering future generations through sustained investment in public school infrastructure.
