The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Tokunbo Abiru, has congratulated former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.

In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the people of Lagos East, Senator Abiru described Prince Ogunleye as “a great statesman whose exceptional wisdom, integrity, and commitment to progressive governance have left an enduring legacy in Lagos State.”

The senator lauded the octogenarian’s unwavering dedication to public service and his remarkable contributions to the development of Lagos State, noting that his leadership continues to inspire many in politics and governance.

“As the Apex Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ikorodu Division, Prince Ogunleye has demonstrated exemplary leadership, fostering unity, stability, and purposeful guidance within our political family,” Abiru stated.

He further joined family members, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the former deputy governor, praying that God grants him continued health, strength, and peace.
