Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo, the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Celebrates his father, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, and Member Governor’s Advisory Council, Lagos State on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

Hon. Gbolahan described his father as “a builder of men” whose life and leadership have greatly influenced him and many others in Ikorodu Division and beyond. He said the milestone reflected Prince Ogunleye’s enduring legacy, resilience, and lifelong commitment to community development and public service.

The legislator commended his father’s immense contributions to the political growth and unity of Ikorodu Division, noting that his wisdom and leadership have strengthened bonds within the community.

“Prince Ogunleye’s impact goes beyond politics. He has served Lagos State meritoriously in various capacities, including as Commissioner and Deputy Governor, leaving an indelible mark on governance and leadership,” Gbolahan said.

Expressing gratitude for his father’s mentorship and support, the lawmaker prayed for continued good health, happiness, and long life for the elder statesman.

“On this special occasion, we thank God for your remarkable journey and the countless lives you have touched. May your years ahead be filled with peace, strength, and joy. Happy Birthday, Daddy!” he added.
