The Deputy Commander of Narcotics, Titilope Ogunluyi, emphasized the importance of community involvement in tackling substance abuse. “We need to come together as a community to tackle this menace,” she said. “Prevention is key, and we appreciate King Ogunremi Foundation for taking this initiative.”

If you and I become a mentor to these young people, we can actually change the world together.”

Readwon, in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the support he has received and hope that his story would inspire others to quit substance abuse. “I feel very okay, I feel balanced, I feel fulfilled because I had been lost, and I am back,” he said. “I know if I can do it, every other person can do it too.”

The initiative aims to create awareness and promote intervention advocacy for young people, particularly with the yuletide season approaching, a period when substance abuse tends to increase.
