
In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has continued his people-focused initiative with the successful distribution of the October edition of the RBK Monthly Food Palliative across communities in the council area.
A total of 3,003 bags of rice were shared among residents in 21 communities, ensuring that the food support reached homes directly and equitably.
The communities covered include Tiye, Imobido, Ilege, Orijeru, Idasho, Magbon-Segun, Itoke, Idotun, Okunraye, Olomowewe, Origanrigan 2, Osoroko, Ajegunle, Oju-Oto, Lekki, Ebute-Lekki, Siriwon, Igbekodo, Apakin, Otolu, and Folu communities.
Speaking during the the exercise, Engr. Rasak Bamidele Kasali reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of residents, noting that the program is aimed at cushioning the effect of the current economic situation on households.
“Our people remain at the center of everything we do,” the Chairman stated. “This initiative is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes the welfare and wellbeing of every Nigerian. It is not just about distributing food; it is about bringing hope and relief directly to the homes of our people. We are determined to ensure that every community in Lekki LCDA feels the impact of good governance.”
He further explained that the monthly palliative program is designed to provide consistent support to households across all wards, emphasizing that transparency and fairness remain key in the distribution process.
Residents across the 21 communities expressed deep gratitude to the Chairman for his continued support, describing him as “a true grassroots leader who genuinely cares for his people.”
