In a bid to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning, the Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) hosted a one-day capacity building training for teachers on September 27, 2025. The training focused on equipping educators with modern teaching strategies, the integration of technology in classrooms, and promoting teachers’ wellbeing.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), praised the dedication of teachers and urged them to put the knowledge gained into practice to improve learning outcomes across schools within the LCDA.
“Our teachers are not just educators, they are frontliners in shaping the future,” he said. “I encourage you to apply the insights from this training to meet the evolving demands of 21st-century education. You are truly our ‘super teachers’.”
The training featured sessions led by renowned education experts, Dr. Bukola Lawal and Hon. Fatai Taiwo, who shared practical techniques to help teachers better support students in a rapidly changing academic environment.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Lekki LCDA to invest in human capital development and raise the standard of education in the community.
