The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), on Wednesday On September 17, 2025 convened a strategic meeting with head teachers across the council area to assess the progress of the newly commenced academic term.

The session, held at the council secretariat, focused on evaluating the successes recorded so far in the new term and identifying potential challenges that may affect the education system in the LCDA.

Chairman Kasali emphasized the importance of delivering quality education, urging teachers to remain committed to their roles in shaping the future of the students. He reiterated his administration’s unwavering support for the education sector and encouraged collaboration, transparency, and teamwork among educators.

“Our children deserve the best, and as educators, we have a responsibility to give them just that. My administration will continue to provide the necessary support to ensure teaching and learning thrive in our schools,” he stated.

During the interactive session, head teachers expressed appreciation for the Chairman’s engagement and shared practical suggestions for improving educational outcomes. Topics discussed included infrastructure needs, teacher training, and student welfare.

The meeting marks another step in the LCDA’s broader efforts to strengthen the educational foundation within the community.
