The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), on Monday conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing construction of the modern Type-C Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Lekki Town, On Monday, September 22, 2025.

Accompanied by a team of medical officers—including doctors, nurses, record officers, and other health personnel—the Chairman toured the facility to assess progress and ensure compliance with healthcare infrastructure standards.

The inspection covered various sections of the PHC, including consultation rooms, wards, administrative offices, and other essential service areas. Engr. Kasali emphasized that the new health centre must meet all professional and structural requirements to deliver quality and accessible healthcare to the residents of Lekki Town and surrounding communities.

“This project represents our administration’s commitment to improving primary healthcare delivery across the LCDA. We are focused on building facilities that meet the needs of our people and stand the test of time,” he said during the inspection.

The modern PHC is expected to enhance access to medical care, reduce patient travel time, and ease the pressure on secondary health institutions in the area.
