Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, wife of the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, has donated essential equipment and devices to students undergoing skill acquisition training at the Lagos State Vocational School in Orimedu. This gesture aims to support effective learning in various areas of vocational training, equipping students with the necessary tools to maximize their program benefits.

The students, recipients of the donated equipment, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Kasali, describing her act as a significant relief that will enhance their training experience. The 9-month skill acquisition program, which commenced weeks ago, focuses on empowering students with practical knowledge and skills to become self-reliant and productive members of society.

By providing these resources, Mrs. Kasali’s initiative aligns with the Lagos State government’s efforts to promote skill acquisition and youth empowerment. Similar programs have been implemented across the state, including the Lagos State Vocational Training and Skill Acquisition Center, which offers free training to citizens in various fields, such as barbing, tailoring, and food processing ¹.

This donation is expected to have a positive impact on the students’ learning experience, enabling them to acquire valuable skills and become more employable or start their own businesses upon completion of the program.
