
The Phillips Olubunmi Emmanuel (POE) Foundation, in collaboration with Unifyah Uplifting Futures, has taken a significant step towards enhancing the learning environment at Nathan Nursery and Primary School in Surulere. The initiative involved the presentation and installation of whiteboards and markers in six classrooms, aimed at creating engaging and interactive learning spaces for children. The POE Foundation also presented a cash gift of N50,000 to Uthman Tijani, the winner of the Surulere Local Government Spelling Bee competition. Additionally, the CDA in the community contributed N20,000 to the prize.
During the event, Hon. Desmond Olusola Elliot, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Surulere Constituency 1, donated additional three whiteboard markers.
