
In a demonstration of compassion and continued commitment to the welfare of his people, the Immediate Past Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, has distributed food palliatives to residents across the LCDA. The initiative was designed to provide relief to families and individuals, particularly in the face of current economic challenges.
While addressing beneficiaries, Hon. Apatira reiterated that the well-being of residents has always remained a top priority during his administration. He explained that the gesture was part of sustained efforts to cushion the effects of hardship, ease the burden on households, and foster a stronger sense of community support within the council area.
The distribution exercise, which took place at his residence on Salaami Bashorun Street, was organized to extend support and relief to residents during this period. Beyond the provision of food items, the event served as an avenue to connect with his people in a spirit of unity, generosity, and appreciation for their unwavering loyalty throughout his tenure.
