
The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has granted its valued endorsement to the forthcoming Students Tourism Retreat, organized by the Eko Youth Tourism Club and the Lagos Students Tourism Initiatives. In response, the organizers have extended their heartfelt appreciation to the Ministry for this significant recognition.
The retreat is designed to empower youth, amplify their voices, and prepare them as ambassadors of Lagos State’s cultural heritage and tourism development. By building their leadership capacity and fostering innovation, the initiative seeks to promote tourism awareness, cultural pride, and youth participation in nation-building across Lagos State.
Comrade Ogunye Oluwaseun Adeyinka, Convener of the Eko Youth Tourism Club and P.R.O of the ATPN Lagos Chapter, have extended special thanks to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Mr. Bajulaiye Adetokunbo Olanrewaju, for his gracious support and leadership. They also deeply appreciate Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Lagos State, for facilitating the endorsement process.
Comrade Ogunye expressed gratitude to the Ministry, stating that the commitment to giving unheard youth the opportunity to grow and the dedication to youth empowerment and cultural development remain a source of inspiration.
The Students Tourism Retreat is set to be a landmark event, strengthening the mission to promote tourism awareness and cultural pride among young people in Lagos State. With the endorsement, the organizers are confident that the initiative will make a significant impact in empowering youth and fostering innovation in the tourism sector.
