The 3rd Edition of the Olu Agboyi Unity Cup came to a thrilling conclusion with a highly captivating final match between Agboyi FC and Agboyi All-Star FC. The atmosphere was electric as football lovers witnessed a contest filled with passion, determination, and unforgettable moments on the pitch.

The grand finale was graced by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, the Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, who was in the company of the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Grassroots Sport Development, Hon. Adebanji Atewogboye (Skibanji). Also in attendance were Oba Taiwo Lamina, the Oloruba of Oruba Agboyi II, various baales, dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers of the community.

The match ended in a four-goal thriller, with Agboyi All-Star FC emerging victorious after defeating Agboyi FC by 3 goals to 1. It was a showcase of talent, teamwork, and the true spirit of grassroots football. Individual brilliance was also celebrated as Idris Qudus of Agboyi FC clinched the prestigious award of Player of the Tournament. Blessing of Agboyi All-Star FC shone as the Goalkeeper of the Tournament, while Omolade Ebenezer bagged the Highest Goalscorer Award.

In his goodwill remarks, Hon. Adebanji Atewogboye commended the initiative of the Olu Agboyi Unity Cup, describing it as a platform that not only nurtures grassroots talents but also fosters peace, unity, and youth development in the kingdom. The event was rounded off with a heartfelt appreciation from HRM Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, who expressed gratitude to all sponsors, players, coaches, committee members, officials, and security personnel for their immense contributions in making the tournament a resounding success.

The Olu of Agboyi Kingdom emphasized that the Unity Cup, held in commemoration of his 5th Coronation Anniversary, is a legacy project that will continue to strengthen the bond of togetherness in Agboyi Kingdom. The tournament has once again proven to be a significant platform for promoting grassroots football, unity, and youth development in the community.
