
Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA), Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency I, has called on all eligible residents in his constituency to ensure they obtain, transfer, or replace their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 General election.
In a statement Hon. Ogunleye urged residents who have not yet registered, newly eligible voters, or those who have recently relocated to Ikorodu to take the necessary steps to participate fully in the democratic process. He also reminded those who may have lost or damaged their PVCs to take advantage of the ongoing registration and update exercise.
Constituents are to complete the in-person phase of the process at the INEC office located inside GRA, off TOS Benson Road, Beside General Hospital, Ikorodu.
Step-by-Step Process
The voter registration exercise will follow a two-step process:
1. Online Pre-Registration
Start Date: Monday, August 18, 2025

All applicants are strongly advised to complete their pre-registration online before visiting the INEC office in person.
2. In-Person Biometrics Capture
Start Date: Monday, August 25, 2025
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
During the in-person phase, applicants must present a valid form of identification such as their National Identification Number (NIN), international passport, or driver’s license. Proof of address may also be required for those transferring their voter registration to Ikorodu.
Hon. Ogunleye emphasized the importance of civic participation and encouraged all constituents to take action promptly. “Your PVC is your power. It is the first step to ensuring that your voice is heard and your interests are represented,” he said.
