Dr. Deola Banjo, the immediate past Chairman of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), yesterday, 6th of August hosted a special appreciation get-together with media practitioners from Ikorodu. The meeting, which was a gesture of gratitude, brought together prominent media personalities who have been instrumental in projecting Dr. Banjo’s activities and projects during his tenure in office.

Dr. Banjo expressed his appreciation to the media practitioners for their support throughout his years in office. He noted that they had been his support system in projecting his activities and projects. He emphasized that he did not take their efforts for granted, which is why he invited them for the get-together.

The former chairman also announced plans for a thank-you visitation to various stakeholders in the coming weeks, starting with the media fraternity. He stated that the visitation would cover traditional rulers, political leaders, public office holders, and other important personalities in Ikorodu Division and beyond. He explained that the purpose of the visitation was to appreciate them for their unwavering support over almost a decade of serving Ikorodu North LCDA.

The meeting was attended by prominent media personalities, including Abdulrahaman Ajasa, CEO of Ajasa-Info; Shakiru Seidu, CEO of Mega Expression; Kunle Adelabu, CEO of Impact Newspaper; Niyi Soyebo, CEO of News Extremist; Toyosi Eromona, representing Ikorodu News Network, Alhaji Muftau representing Oriwu Sun Newspaper, and Adewale Araba CEO Laroyal Global News.
