The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, conferred the esteemed title of Otunba Tadese of Igbogbo Kingdom upon Builder Olusesan Daini, the immediate past Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This honor was bestowed u8upon Daini in recognition of his exemplary leadership and outstanding performance as Chairman.

The honor came as a surprise for him, given his outstanding performance, today, July 31st, he was celebrated at the Reception held in his honor for his exemplary leadership and performance as the Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, which was put together by the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Adeboruwa in Council, and IDEA. Notably, this honor comes barely a week after the Methodist Church of Igbogbo honored Daini with the Otun Asiwaju Ijo title.

Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, praised Daini’s achievements, saying Sesan has landed safely, that is why we are celebrating him today. He applauded IDEA for their efforts in keying into this.

In his acceptance remarks, Daini expressed surprise, stating he never expected the honor, as he was only told about the reception. He extended his gratitude to Kabiyesi and Adeboruwa in Council, IDEA, and the Sons and Daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom. He promised to always do his best for the community.

The Sekumade of Ipakodo Kingdom, Oba Bashir Shotonwa, commended Daini’s exceptional performance as Chairman. He noted that the whole of Ikorodu Division are talking about what Daini did in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and that other political office holders should use him as an example.

Chief Tajudeen Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, praised Daini’s achievements, highlighting the combination of Kabiyesi and Daini brought development to Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, which we are proud of. Daini has done absolutely well for Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Oba David Olukayode Raji, Eweye of Isiwu, attributed Daini’s success to his prayers. Daini has prayed for himself for the project he did in council secretariat, the market, and this gigantic palace.

Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya described the honor as a well-deserved recognition of Daini’s quality representation and exceptional performance as Chairman. This is appreciation for quality representation for somebody who was given the mandate and performed beyond expectation.

Hon. Adebimpe Akinshola, Vice President of IDEA, expressed happiness over Daini’s achievements. She noted that IDEA’s plan is to develop the kingdom in terms of human development, capital development, and infrastructural development. Seeing a chairman who built a befitting Oba palace for the community is in support of what IDEA stands for.

The Lisa of Ibeshe commended Daini’s performance, saying he has done wonderfully well while in office.

The CAN Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA appreciated Daini’s efforts, noting that the JTF created by Daini curbed a lot of insecurities and appreciated his support during COVID.

The Lisa of Ipakodo praised Daini, saying despite Local Government has limited funds, Daini came out exceeding well.

The Conference of Igbogbo Indigenes in Public Service, represented by the President, said Daini has laid a benchmark for performance in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Alhaja Asake Wahab, the Iya Oloja General of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, commended Daini’s efforts, saying when they call someone a builder, it’s exemplary, as seen in the construction of the Palace in 16 weeks and the council secretariat.

Dr. Dankuwo Adeleke, President of IYF, and other dignitaries also lauded Daini’s impact on the community.
