The Nigerian Children Cultural Heritage (NCCH) is thrilled to announce the upcoming Lagos State Children Arts and Crafts Workshop and Exhibitions, scheduled to take place from August 4th to 30th, 2025. This highly anticipated event aims to empower over 10,000 children between the ages of 10 and 18 years old, across different local government areas in Lagos State, by providing them with a platform to explore their creative potential and develop their skills.
The workshop, which will run for two days in each location, promises to be an exciting and enriching experience for the young participants. The program will feature a wide range of activities, including pencil drawing, Adire making, soap making, photography, dance, drumming, arts and crafts activities, games, and sports. Additionally, the workshop will include exhibitions and cultural exchange opportunities, allowing the children to showcase their artistic talents and learn from one another.
The NCCH has received endorsements from prominent organizations, including the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, NULASS LASU, TAMPAN Lagos State Chapter, and GONDP Lagos State Chapter. These endorsements underscore the importance of promoting cultural heritage and empowering young people through arts and crafts initiatives.
According to the organizers, the program is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of artists, innovators, and leaders. “We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their creative potential and develop their skills,” said Olukemi Fanimokun, representing the NCCH. “This program is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of artists, innovators, and leaders.”
