The National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS-NATIONAL) in collaboration with CHiYoWo Empowerment Initiative and ATLAS Initiative has launched a bold initiative titled “School Outreach: Boy and Girl Child.” The program aims to reshape the mindset of Senior Secondary School Students across the Ikorodu Division, refocusing them on values of integrity, diligence, and self-worth.

The initiative seeks to address the growing trend of young boys being misled into fraud, cybercrime, and ritualism, while young girls are conditioned to rely on material support from boyfriends rather than valuing education and personal growth. Through direct visits to schools, interactive sessions, testimonials, and mentorship engagements, NAIDS-NATIONAL aims to change the narrative and inspire hope, confidence, and ambition in the students.

The program’s objectives include engaging students in honest conversations, educating them on the dangers of fraud and material dependency, and promoting values that will build better men and women for tomorrow. NAIDS-NATIONAL will also distribute school materials to support students in their academic pursuits.

According to Comr. Ogunbowale Olatayo Bodunrin, NAIDS-NATIONAL President, “We are not here to condemn our young ones — we are here to awaken them. To remind them that the path of honesty, education, and hard work is still the surest way to last success.”

The initiative is a movement to re-engineer the future of Ikorodu Division and safeguard the destiny of its youth. Schools, parents, stakeholders, NGOs, and partners are invited to support this cause and join in building a generation that values self-worth, knowledge, and purpose.
