The people of Ward G Agura-Gberigbe in Ikorodu Local Government came out in their numbers to show solidarity to Prince Adedayo Ladega, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate, and Hon. Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba, the APC Vice-Chairmanship candidate. July 2nd, marked the culmination of the team’s ward campaign tour, and the residents’ overwhelming support was evident in the massive turnout.

During the campaign rally, Hon. Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba outlined the plans of their government, emphasizing the need to consult with various stakeholders to identify and address the community’s needs. He promised that their administration would prioritize road infrastructure, education, security, sports development, social welfare, among others. Specifically, he mentioned plans to engage with physically challenged individuals, conduct roundtable meetings with youths on security, and implement an open-door policy in Government. He also mentioned their agenda to organize inter-school competitions to promote sports development among the youth.

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Chairman, Alhaji Rilwan Ishola Jinadu, reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to good representation and promised that Prince Ladega’s administration would build on the successes of the current Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina. Alhaji Jinadu highlighted the APC’s track record of keeping promises, citing the great work of President Tinubu, Governor Sanwo-Olu, Senator Abiru, Rep. Babajimi Benson, and Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye.

Alhaji Jinadu also emphasized the need for the community to turn out in large numbers to vote for the APC candidates, aiming for at least 25 to 30 thousand votes. He noted that this would enable the Government to take notice of Agura’s needs and prioritize its development. He urged residents to spread the word to their neighbors and friends to vote for the APC candidates, stressing the importance of building friendships rather than making enemies.
