
The POE Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children, celebrated Children’s Day 2025 with pupils from three primary schools in Lagos: Adekunle Anglican Primary School Yaba, Nathan Nursery and Primary School Surulere, and Yaba Model Nursery and Primary School Surulere.
The celebration was marked with enthusiasm and excitement, as the foundation distributed Exercise Books to the pupils, they also participated in various activities designed to promote their welfare and development.
In his words of encouragement, Phillips Olubunmi Emmanuel, Founder of the POE Foundation, urged the children to stay focused on their education and pursue their dreams, emphasizing that with hard work and determination, they could achieve great things. He also encouraged them to take pride in their talents and abilities, and to continue to strive for excellence in all they do.

Hon. Phillips expressed his joy and commitment to supporting the education and well-being of Nigerian children. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the foundation’s sponsors, including Mr. and Mrs. Akinfolarin of Brooks Care Agency UK, Dr. Abiodun Oluwalowo of the United States of America, Mrs. Alice Joseph of Maryjoe Foundation, Gbayi Judo Foundation, Idowu Taylor Ridwan Foundation, Dr. Nike Adeseye of the UK, Mr. Tony Ovia of the USA, Globus Bank, Zenith Bank, and Sunglass Hotel, for their contributions to the success of the event.
