As the tenure of the current IKODASS Executive, led by Mr. Rotimi Erogbogbo, draws to a close, Alh. Fatai Kolawole Olayiwola Ogunfodunrin, a former Deputy Chairman, has declared his candidacy for the position of Chairman of Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS). This development comes shortly after the Inauguration of the Electoral Committee during the Annual General Meeting of IKODASS on Saturday.

Alh. Olayiwola, who served as Deputy Chairman during the administration of Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru between 2017-2021, formally made his intention known by distributing his campaign brochure to critical stakeholders and attendees at the meeting. The brochure contained his letter of intent, captioned “Letter of Intent to Contest for the Office of the Chairman of Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS)”.

In his letter, Alh. Olayiwola expressed his strong belief that his background as a retired Customs Officer and businessman of almost 20 years, coupled with his experience as a former Deputy Chairman, makes him an ideal candidate for the position. He highlighted his passion to serve the good people of Ikorodu and his desire to take IKODASS to greater heights.

As the Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI), Alh. Olayiwola is confident that his emergence as the next IKODASS Chairman would be a boost to the community. He is counting on the robust support of Ikorodu stakeholders to make his dream a reality, for the benefit of all Ikorodu sons and daughters, as well as residents alike.
