In a significant development in the political landscape of Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the Justice Forum, a group affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC), has endorsed Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele as its sole candidate for the Council Chairman seat. This endorsement was announced Wednesday April 16th, 2025 during there meeting, marking a crucial step in Hon. Benson’s bid for the chairmanship position.

According to the group’s leadership, the endorsement was based on Hon. Benson’s capability and experience, garnered from his tenure as a Supervisor and his current role as Vice Chairman of the Local Government. These credentials, the group believes, make him the ideal candidate to lead Imota LCDA, also it is the turn of Justice Forum to produce the Council Chairman, as the Incubent chairman is from the Mandate group.

In a gracious response, Hon. Benson Ayodele expressed his appreciation to the Justice Forum’s leadership and members for their trust in him. He acknowledged the group’s confidence in his leadership abilities and pledged to justify their trust if elected as the Council Chairman.
