
Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA), Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency 1 and Chairman of the House Committee on Social Development Goals, has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls in Ikorodu constituency 1 on Eid-al-Fitr Celebration.
In his message, Hon. Ogunleye emphasized the significance of Eid-al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual growth. He noted that the celebration is a time for Muslims to come together with family and friends, share meals, and strengthen bonds of love and compassion.
Hon. Ogunleye highlighted the teachings of Eid-al-Fitr, which include forgiveness, generosity, and kindness. He encouraged the Muslim faithful to extend these values beyond the celebration, incorporating them into their daily lives. He also prayed that Almighty Allah accepts their acts of worship during Ramadan as a form of Ibadah, and that they would witness more blessings and prosperity in their lives.
The lawmaker’s message was one of unity, love, and gratitude, as he acknowledged the importance of religious tolerance and harmony in the community. He wished the Muslim faithful a joyous and blessed Eid-al-Fitr celebration.
