Comrade Kayode Opeifa, Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, has penned a heartfelt tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 73rd birthday. Opeifa described President Tinubu as “the quintessential Asiwaju” and a generational phenomenon, whose leadership and vision have inspired a nation.

According to Opeifa, President Tinubu is a mentor who is “most often right” and even when wrong, is “justifiably right.” He praised the President’s consistency and commitment to his values, which have remained unwavering even as he has taken on the role of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Opeifa’s tribute also highlighted President Tinubu’s impact on different generations. To his generation, he is an Obafemi Awolowo reincarnate, while to Opeifa’s generation, he is a Mahatma Gandhi-like figure for the younger generation, President Tinubu embodies the expectations of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jnr.

As President Tinubu celebrates his 73rd birthday, Opeifa expressed gratitude to God for the President’s life and leadership. He joined many others in Nigeria and worldwide in wishing President Tinubu a happy birthday and congratulating him on his milestone.
