Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reiterated the administration’s dedication to enhancing the country and improving citizens’ lives. She made this statement while hosting an Iftar ceremony, where she broke her fast with former first ladies, female National Assembly members, and other dignitaries.

At the event, Senator Tinubu emphasized the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need, urging everyone to take it one person at a time. She noted that the coincidence of Ramadan and Lent this year is a divine occurrence, allowing for a period of sober reflection for both Muslim and Christian communities.

The First Lady encouraged the Muslim community to continue exhibiting the virtues demonstrated during Ramadan, while also praying for God’s mercy. She expressed her optimism about the country’s prospects, describing the current year as one marked by “prosperity and abundance”.

The event featured a lecture by Professor Fatima Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor of Azman University in Kano, on the spiritual significance and teachings of Ramadan. Special prayers were also offered for the nation, the president, and all citizens.
