Hon. Rinsola Abiola, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, on Sunday hosted a Ramadan lecture and iftar in her hometown, bringing together leaders and young people from the Ogun Central senatorial district.

Expressing gratitude for the successful engagement, she stated, “Alhamdulillah for a successful engagement.”

Hon. Abiola extended her appreciation to key figures who attended the event, including Prof. Kamaldeen Balogun, the Chief Imam of Egba Gbagura. She also acknowledged several political leaders, such as Hon. Igwe, the State Organising Secretary; Hon. Adijat Adeleye, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development; the Ogun State APC Youth Leader and Women Leader; the Senatorial Youth Leader; party chairmen from the six local government areas in Ogun Central; all ward chairmen from Abeokuta North LGA; as well as the Women and Youth Leaders of Abeokuta North LGA.

She further appreciated her Ward Councillor and other party stalwarts who graced the occasion.

Hon. Abiola also recognized the presence of various youth groups, stating, “I would also like to thank all the youth groups that were represented at the engagement: NACOMYO, Gateway Progressive Youth , City Boy Movement, APC Youth League, NYCN, JONAPWD, awon egbe alasalatu, PCAI, Abeokuta North Zonal CDC Youth in Community, Gbagura Youth Development Concern (GYDC), Eminent Women Ogun State, PSN, and the many non-aligned individuals who joined us.” She also gave a special mention to Mahmoud Salako for attending.

Acknowledging the role of the media, she stated, “I am also thankful to the gentlemen of the press for amplifying our message.”

Hon. Abiola commended her team for their dedication, saying, “Everyone played their part so well that I momentarily forgot that I had an event coming up. I am thankful for the dedication and support, and I do not take you all for granted.” She expressed gratitude to individuals named Uncle, KB, and Olamide David for their contributions.

The event also had representation from the Ogun State PSN, which she acknowledged, stating, “Thank you so, so much for coming, my dear Sisters.”

Additionally, she expressed her appreciation to  Prince Hadi Sani , the Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on Interethnic Affairs, for attending the gathering.
