
Hon. Ameen Olawale (Apanishile), Ikorodu North LCDA Vice Chairman has distributed 1000 Ramadan and Lenten food packs to residents of Ikorodu North LCDA.
The distribution, which took place yesterday at the party secretariat in Ikorodu North LCDA, aimed to bring the community together and provide support to those in need.
Apanishile emphasized the importance of community and the role that each individual plays in making a positive impact. He noted that the holy month is significant for both Muslims and Christians, and stressed that it is a time for reflection, prayer, and fasting.
He also highlighted the need for the community to come together, show compassion and kindness to one another, and bridge the gaps between them. Apanishile stated that this would foster a sense of unity and solidarity, and demonstrate that the community is united in its diversity and committed to the well-being of all.
As the Vice Chairman in Ikorodu North LCDA, Apanishile reaffirmed his commitment to putting the needs of the community first. He stressed that it is the collective responsibility of the community to ensure that no one is left behind, and that everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
He noted that the food packs are just one small way that the community can come together to make a difference. He expressed his pride in being able to provide this support to the community, and gratitude to everyone who worked tirelessly to make the distribution possible.
Apanishile urge the beneficiaries that we must continue to pray for our leaders for God’s guidance, from the President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to the least political office holders and their families to use the opportunity of the great season to have a better Nigeria.
He admonished every one on voters card registration and the importance. He reiterated that having our cards will be of benefit and bring more development of our community.
Hon. Jimoh Odidi, an apex leader in Ikorodu North LCDA, commended Apanishile for his gesture, stating that it came at the right time when people needed it most, also urge the residents to use the opportunity of the season to pray for a better successor for Dr. Deola Banjo.
Beneficiaries of the food packs expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Apanishile for his kindness and generosity.
Mrs. Olaoluwa Funke, a resident of Ikorodu North, said that the food pack will bring relief to her family during the fasting period.
Mr. Tunde Kabiru, another beneficiary, praised Apanishile for his thoughtfulness, saying that the food pack will support him to provide for his loved ones, as they are yet to know what to eat for the day.
Mrs. Sarah, thanked Apanishile for putting smiles on the faces of the community members, saying that the food pack will make a significant difference in her life and immediate family.
